Sehr schönes Gerät, leider wohl auch nicht ganz billig - in USA kostet es wohl $8.700,- ohne und $11.700,- mit DAC

Am besten einmal bei Daniel Weiss in der Schweiz nachfragen was das Gerät kostet. Eines ist sicher, bei ihm werden Sache mit Hand und Fuß gebaut.

Besonders der letzte Punkt lässt aufhorchen, war dies bislang ja den PC Streamern vorbehalten. Nun könnte man hier vermutlich acourate Filter einbinden.

Demnach muss Weiss Engineering wohl insbesondere die Control-App* nochmal nachbessern ...

* Gemäß der Rezension lässt sich der MAN301 ausschließlich über ein iPad einrichten und steuern.

Und auch in Bezug auf die Klangqualität war der Tester eher enttäuscht:

The sound quality from the MAN301 was very good, but not as good as I remember, albeit over two years ago, the standalone DAC202 when combined with a Mac or PC music server.
